DeBorah Johnson

Beloved Community,

 

I am DeBorah Johnson. I have been a stakeholder in Cobb County for twenty plus years. A graduate of Chattahoochee Technical College and credits away from receiving my bachelor’s degree in Business Administration concentrating in Management. I have a huge family, whom I love dearly. I’ve spent

tireless hours answering calls of concerns, sharing resources to those in need, engaging in community meetings and recently organizing the largest Keep Cobb Beautiful event ever. I have yet to turn down a call to action- serving as a poll worker, employed at our local school district, servant leader at Destiny World Church, organized South Cobb to get out and vote. Currently serving as Chair Emeritus of Austell Community Task Force. I have also worked as 1st Vice Chair of the Democratic Party of Georgia -Cobb African American Caucus.

Neighbors, you already know what we need in The City of Mableton -crime-free neighborhoods, robust work opportunities, small business development and programs that will prepare our youth for success. With integrity and a heart for positive change. I am prepared to continue tackling these issues and more.

 

As District 1 City Council, I will continue to work and give the constituents a strong voice to determine mutual services agreements on the their behalf, protect our most vulnerable population and work with

all citizens for the right and wellbeing of the city. I bring integrity, transparency, and accountability to any seat at the table. And that my friends, I stand on.
